NBA／不離開勇士！杜蘭特跳出合約衝頂薪
就在勇士例行賽收官戰40分之差慘敗爵士後，當家球星杜蘭特（Kevin Durant）為衛冕軍再拋下一枚震撼彈，杜蘭特打算拒絕執行下季的球員選項，今夏將和勇士談判簽訂合約。
杜蘭特在賽季後放棄球員選項，將成為完全的自由球員，不過跳出合約此舉，並不代表他會進入自由球員市場，而是為了重新調整、簽下真正符合身價的頂薪合約。這位去年總冠軍賽MVP，加入勇士圓了冠軍夢後，和球隊簽下2年5100萬美元的合約，這個價碼比拿他能夠拿到的頂薪少了將近1000萬。
杜蘭特當時是為了讓勇士有足夠的薪資留下伊古達拉（Andre Iguodala）和李文斯頓（Shaun Livingston）兩名重要替補。勇士隊總管邁爾斯（Bob Myers）去年七月曾說：「如果不是杜蘭特願意降薪，球隊絕對不會有現在的名單陣容，杜蘭特這麼做就是想贏球。」
杜蘭特會在季後賽結束後，和經紀人克萊曼（Rich Kleiman）好好討論細節。目前仍不清楚杜蘭特會考慮什麼樣的合約，ESPN專欄作家馬克斯（Bobby Marks）分析了3個簽約方案，方案A是簽下一份2年合約，明年球季結束後跳出，再簽下5年2.19億的頂薪合約，而方案B是直接和勇士簽下4年1.58億的頂薪合約，方案C則是簽一份3年合約，等第3季跳出合約後，簽下5年2.28億的頂薪合約。
方案A跟C都是先簽附帶球員選項的2到3年合約，等球隊薪資上限提升後再簽下頂薪長約。杜蘭特在3月初時曾表示：「為了冠軍先進行一年合約是合乎情理，我也確信自己會想要簽更穩定的長約，我很享受在勇士隊的每一刻，現在我還沒有想太遠。」
